Information you share
When you use a contact or course enquiry form, you share your name, email address and message with Vizi Andrei so I can respond. Please share only the details needed for your enquiry and avoid including sensitive personal information.
Purposes and legal bases
Enquiries about booking or purchasing services are handled to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). General correspondence and website security are handled on the basis of legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and protecting the website from abuse (Article 6(1)(f)).
Providing information is voluntary, but a name, working email address and message are needed to respond through the form. The checkbox acknowledges this notice; it does not authorise marketing.
How messages are delivered
This website is hosted by Render. Form messages are delivered through Resend to my Outlook mailbox. These providers process the information needed to host the website and deliver and store your message. Hosting and content-delivery services also receive technical connection information, such as IP addresses and browser/request information. Article preview images are loaded from Substack's image-delivery service.
International processing
These providers may process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Their published terms describe transfer safeguards such as European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. See Render's data processing terms, Resend's data processing terms and Microsoft's privacy statement. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your enquiry.
How long messages are kept
Enquiries that do not lead to a client relationship are kept for 12 months from the last conversation and then deleted. This includes correspondence held in the Outlook mailbox.
Where an enquiry becomes a booking or other client relationship, relevant records may need to be retained for contractual, accounting or legal obligations. The 12-month enquiry rule does not replace those obligations.
Temporary anti-abuse counters expire within 24 hours and are also cleared when the website server restarts. Hosting, delivery and mailbox providers may keep separate service logs or backup copies under their applicable retention terms. The 12-month enquiry period describes our handling of correspondence, not every provider's technical records.
Cookies and browser storage
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not save the content of your form messages in cookies, local storage or session storage. Your entered message remains on the page while it is open; it is not saved as a draft if you close or reload the page.
Fonts and website scripts are served with the website. Article preview images are requested from Substack's image-delivery service, which receives the connection information needed to deliver them. This serves our legitimate interest in presenting recent writing. We do not use those images for visitor analytics or advertising. If you follow a link to Substack, Amazon or another website, its own privacy and cookie practices apply. Substack's privacy information is available at substack.com/privacy.
Newsletter subscriptions
Sending a message does not subscribe you to the newsletter. Newsletter subscriptions are completed separately on Substack, where its privacy information and subscription settings apply.
Spam protection
The forms use temporary counters and duplicate-message checks to reduce spam and repeated sends. Email addresses used for these counters are represented by temporary hashes rather than stored as readable addresses in the counters.
Questions about your data
For questions about the information you have shared, or to request deletion of your message, email viziandrei@outlook.com.
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. If a separate activity relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. No automated decision-making or profiling is used to decide how your enquiry is handled.
You may also complain to Romania's National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP): www.dataprotection.ro, or another competent supervisory authority.
To exercise your rights, email the contact address below and describe your request. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity. Requests are normally answered within one month. Where the GDPR permits an extension for a complex request, we will explain it within that first month. These rights are subject to applicable legal conditions; deletion is not always possible where records must be retained by law.
